Suzanne met Tim Gaze when he was commissioned to write for another Australian surf movie (after Morning of the Earth) in which she sang and performed two of her original songs for the movie “Band On The Run”.

A chance meeting and introduction to blues music occurred when she met Dutch Tilders in Sydney. During her part time she attained a Bachelor of Education in music including studying jazz piano. Suzanne moved on to playing piano bar gigs at 5 star hotels in Melbourne such as The Windsor.
