String Quartet

String quartet whose signature is not only in classical music, but also jazz, and other styles that are not usually performed by a classical string group.

• Rita completed an Undergraduate Degree in Music Performance in Violin at the University of Evora, Portugal with Valentin Stefanov. She performs regularly with various chamber ensembles and orchestras in Geelong such has the Geelong Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Geelong, performs regularly at GPAC for Musical Productions and in a violin & piano duo with her husband. She currently teaches violin at The Geelong College, Belmont High School and privately to students of all ages. She enjoys playing different musical styles such has Classical, Jazz and Bossa Nova.

• Ella began playing the violin at age 6 and since then has enjoyed a spectrum of musical experiences, from completing AMEB grades to playing for Musicals and Arts Festivals in Victoria. She is currently completing VCE in her home town of Apollo Bay, as well as teaching and performing on the violin regularly.

• Sara is an enthusiastic and passionate music teacher and performer. She enjoys performing in various chamber groups as well as two Symphony orchestras in Geelong. Her love of the community extends to playing in the orchestral pit for Musicals such as Les Miserable, Miss Saigon, My Fair Lady, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Oliver and The Wizard of Oz. Sara currently works as a Violin/Viola teacher at Geelong Grammar school, Geelong College and Freshwater Creek Steiner school.

• Jeanette completed a Bachelor of Music, studying cello performance at the University of Tasmania Conservatorium of Music with Christian Wojtowicz and University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music with Nelson Cooke. She has taught cello and performed in various chamber ensembles and orchestras in Tasmania, Melbourne and Geelong. Currently Jeanette teaches cello at Christian College Geelong and plays with the Geelong Symphony Orchestra.
