Sarah started singing at the age of 6. She has performed at singing eisteddfods and competitions around Victoria. She has competed at Royal South Street, Ballarat and as well as other eisteddfods around Victoria where she won awards for Musical Theatre, Jazz and Contemporary.

Sarah has been singing in a Celtic group ‘Platform 9¾’ since October 2013, performing in numerous music festivals throughout Australia. In 2015, her group won ‘Best Traditional Celtic Song’ for ‘Bonnie Portmore’ at the Australian Celtic Music Awards in Glen Innes, NSW. They also released their first album, ‘Celtic But Mainly Welsh’.

Sarah has performed numerous times with the Victoria Welsh Choir as a soloist and in In 2016, Sarah was awarded ‘Female Celtic Artist of the Year’. This prestigious event is run during the Australian Celtic Music Festival in Glen Innes.

Most recently, Sarah’s highlight was performing at the National Celtic Festival Portarlington, being the most recognised Celtic festival in Victoria. Sarah also sings many other genres including contemporary, pop, rock, alternative, jazz and much more. Sarah is now thrilled to be working on this new project with Pete.

Pete grew up in Melbourne and began his musical career at a young age. He began playing in numerous bands around the Melbourne scene. He has performed at many festivals and has appeared professionally on Melbourne television stations.

Pete has been associated with Brian Mannix, Tommy and Phil Emmanuel and many others. To expand his music ability, Pete studied classical and flamenco guitar during the 1980’s. In 1990, he became a lead guitarist for the successful band “Thirsty Work” who performed for many years throughout Victoria and NSW.

In 2004, Pete launched his own solo instrumental show “Surfs Up”. Not long after, in 2008 he supported Jack Jones on his tour. Hank Marvin, who is a good friend of Pete’s worked with him as a promotional team to secure Hank for his only eastern state show at The Kyabram Plaza Theatre in 2009 and in 2011 for Hank’s shows in Shepparton, Victoria, and Crown Casino, Melbourne. Pete is thrilled to be part of this new music duo “Sarah & Pete”.
