  1. Make sure they are an experienced function & wedding DJ. Some DJs are brilliant nightclub DJs, but find the transition to private functions a challenge.

  2. Make sure you know your DJ’s name! ... Choose a DJ who you can chat to personally and build a rapport with, rather than just going with a company who will send out a DJ from their “pool” of available DJs.

  3. Make sure your DJ is happy to either work with your chosen set-lists, or come up with their own to suit you and your guests.... A good DJ will be equally happy working either with pre-arranged play lists or creating their own.

  4. Ensure your DJ can handle requests on the night – the ability to download songs instantly is important.

  5. Ensure your DJ is familiar with wedding receptions protocols such as first dance, speeches, cutting of the cake etc.... and the dress code!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!  May the luck of the Irish be with you...

"May your day be touched with a bit of Irish Luck
Brightened by a song in your heart
And warmed with smiles by the people you love"
